10 Most Popular Posts Of 2013

As we say goodbye to 2013 and are all dragged kicking and screaming into 2014 it's time to look back at the 10 most popular posts on DriverVIBE.

There's no point trying to guess what's coming next as there are quite a few that quite frankly we had forgotten all about but you, our avid readers obviously took a liking to.

So here goes...in reverse order (naturally)

10 - Suzuki SX4 S-Cross UK Media Launch

In September we received a rather generous invitation through the electronic post from the Suzuki UK PR team inviting us to the UK launch of the all-new S-Cross. Obviously we could hardly turn down the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the brand's most important new car and we were pleasantly surprised with what we found.

9 - Isuzu D-max ON THE ROAD

In February we were offered the chance to sample Isuzu's new pick-up for a week. Having never reviewed such a vehicle before we thought 'why the hell not?' and it proved to be an interesting week. Who would have thought a gargantuan truck could make such a good family motor?

8 - Refreshed Suzuki Swift Revealed

So here we have our second Suzuki post. There's a little tale to this one which we won't go into but let's just say that we stumbled across the images of the refreshed Swift a little sooner than we should have. It's probably the reason this post makes it into our Top 10 but still the Swift is a car that we like a lot.

7 - 2014 Peugeot 208 CC

Whether you are a fan of hatchbacks with folding hardtops or not there is no doubting that Theo's digital render of what Peugeot's 208 would like like in CC guise made interesting viewing. We posted his creation back in January and although there is no official confirmation from Peugeot as to whether we will see a 208 CC it's worth checking out this post.

6 - Shoestring Superminis

In January Leo Kimitri had a good think about whether buying a brand new first car makes the most sense for young drivers. He concluded that actually buying used makes just as much sense and in the long run you end up with more money left in your back pocket.

5 - TWINTEST Mitsubishi Outlander vs Subaru Forester

In July we managed to bring together two newly launched medium crossovers for a battle to see which came out on top. It wasn't our first TwinTest (read on) and as it has proved so popular it certainly won't be our last but it certainly makes an interesting read.

4 - Peugeot 3008 1.6 HDi Allure ON THE ROAD

In July Leo Kimitri delivered his verdict on Peugeot's 3008 crossover with a full in-depth review - his first ever DriverVIBE review. Having sampled the 3008 before in HYbrid form we were impressed by Leo's post which makes a good read coming from a different perspective.

3 - All-New 2014 MINI in Full View

An all-new MINI doesn't come along very often so when pictures first surfaced at the beginning of July we just had to post them. MINI however weren't so happy about the leaked images appearing all over the net and amusingly issued a counter press release which certainly made interesting read.

2 - TWINTEST Mitsubishi Outlander vs Subaru Forester

You are probably scrolling back up to 5th place thinking that we've made a mistake. Well we haven't. In February we posted our first ever TwinTest of the previous generation Outlander and Forester in a bid to find out which car was better. We won't reveal the outcome but it makes a good read especially compared to the current generation models that we pitted again in July as the outcome is very different.

1st - 2014 Kia Rio GT & Picanto GT

So here we are again gazing into the crystal ball but this time we are salivating at the prospect of Kia pushing the sporty GT treatment across more models. Thanks again to Theo's digital handywork we were able to bring the idea of a Rio and Picanto GT to life. We love the outcome and just hope that Kia bring the models to the market especially having sampled the pro_cee'd GT in November.
